Our horror mood board is a combination of the things we wish
to see from a movie like ours. The shots show a variety of horror aspects
across film and television which we would like to achieve in our final product.
We included:
- Zombies – for narrative
- Women – to show strong female characters
- Weapons – elements of ‘action’ horror
- Blood and special effects – for ‘gory’ horror
- ‘The Shining’ still – psychological horror aspects
- ‘Dawn of the Dead’, ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Tucker & Dale’ – finding horror in mundane, everyday situations.
